Camping

Details

Camping is a favorite outdoor pastime for both Central Montana locals and visitors to the area.  Whether you are looking for a weekend away with the family or some time alone, there are several excellent locations from which to choose.

Most of the campgrounds around Central Montana are managed by various agencies including the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the city of Lewistown, and the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife, and Parks.

There is also a Kiwanis Campground just west of town, a private RV Park and the Fergus County Fairgrounds, all of which have camping spots.

These campgrounds all provide a peaceful environment where you can enjoy the beauty of nature.  Gather your friends and family and experience what Central Montana has to offer.
